Dawo.

Dawo is AI-powered portfolio intelligence with receipts — built explicitly as a research engine, not another AI advisor. The positioning is direct: 62% of investors use AI but only 23% trust it; the #1 concern is wrong recommendations from black boxes. Dawo doesn't tell you what to buy. It shows you what's going on in your portfolio with sources, methodology, and evidence — institutional-grade transparency for the 145M+ self-directed retail investors managing their own money through Fidelity, Schwab, Vanguard, and Robinhood.

The product does three things: (1) Analyzes what you own — with receipts: sync brokerage (or upload statement), Dawo runs portfolio-level analysis grounded in earnings data, filings, macro signals, and benchmark data, surfacing what changed and why. (2) AI Analyst Chat as the Universal Access Layer — a conversational interface that sits on top of the entire analysis engine and lets users ask anything about their portfolio in plain language and get sourced, transparent, jargon-free answers. (3) Forensic accounting depth — earnings quality, cash flow verification, liability stress tests, the analysis that institutional desks run but retail tools never expose.

Targeted at self-directed retail investors with $10K–$500K portfolios — comfortable picking stocks, lacking the tools to deeply analyze what they hold. Direct addressable market: the $4.1B investment research software space growing 14% CAGR toward $12B by 2032, with the larger opportunity displacing the 1–2% annual advisory fees that drive the $2.2 trillion wealth management industry. B2C primary, with an Advisor tier (advisors pay, advisor's clients benefit indirectly) as a B2B2C revenue layer.

Riding three structural tailwinds: retail investing inflows exceeding $300B (+14% YoY), demographic shift (30% of Gen Z investing in early adulthood vs 9% Gen X and 6% Boomers), and growing acceptance of AI in financial services — combined with the persistent trust gap that every black-box AI advisor is failing to close.
