Datrix is a domain-aware AI analytics tool built for logistics and operations teams who live in Excel and ERP exports — turning raw operational data into structured insights, trend explanations, and weekly summaries without a single SQL query or analyst hire.

The product wedge is automated insight generation, not just visualization. Where existing BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) require an analyst to know what to look for, Datrix's AI synthesizes what changed, by how much, and why directly from an Excel upload. The user flow collapses the traditional reporting pipeline: drag-and-drop Excel → automatic column-type detection and data structuring → auto-generated charts and KPI cards → AI insight panel → conversational chat with suggested prompts — replacing hours of pivot tables and manual summary writing with a single page.

Built B2B for logistics managers, operations leads, and supply chain directors, used B2C-style by the analysts generating their weekly performance reports. The system prompt frames the AI as a senior data analyst and strategy consultant specialized in operational data — clear, analytical, business-focused. Primary model: GPT-4o-mini, chosen for the cost/latency/reasoning balance on structured-data summarization without the overhead of a heavyweight reasoning model.

Riding the AI-powered analytics tools subsegment growing at ~20% CAGR (vs ~8–12% for BI overall), Datrix is positioned at the intersection where domain awareness (logistics-specific schemas and KPI defaults), automated insight generation, and no-code Excel-first UX create a wedge no general-purpose BI tool currently covers.
